This Refund and Returns Policy governs all purchases, subscriptions, and paid services made through the A Good Turn Company platform (“Platform”). By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. General Refund Policy
A Good Turn Company offers refunds for paid services, memberships, and promotional placements only when a refund is formally requested within 48 hours of the original purchase date. After this 48-hour window, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued, except where required by applicable law.
To request a refund within the eligible window, please contact us through the Contact Us page on this website. Include your order confirmation number, the email address associated with your account, and the reason for your refund request. Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
2. Membership Subscriptions
Monthly Memberships: Monthly membership subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period after the 48-hour refund window has passed. After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free tier at the end of the paid period and you will retain access to paid features until that date.
Annual Memberships: Annual membership purchases are eligible for a full refund within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, annual memberships are non-refundable. You may cancel an annual membership at any time; cancellation prevents auto-renewal but does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remaining term.
Free Trial Upgrades: If your account was upgraded from a free trial or promotional offer, the refund clock starts at the time of the first paid charge, not the start of the trial.
3. Business Promotional Add-Ons
All business promotional add-ons — including Event Promotion Posts, Occasion Sponsorships, Neighborhood Spotlights, Social Media Feature Bundles, Newsletter Spotlights, Itinerary Builder Placements, Deals & Offers Promotions, Scout Verification Visits, Analytics Upgrades, Seasonal Campaign Packages, Occasion Package Inclusions, and Takeover Days — are non-refundable once the add-on has been activated or the campaign has launched.
Refunds for business add-ons that have not yet activated are available within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, or once the add-on activates (whichever comes first), the purchase is final. If a technical error on our end prevented an add-on from activating as scheduled, please contact us for a review — we will make reasonable efforts to remedy the issue or issue a credit.
4. Giveaway Entry and Promotional Registrations
No purchase is required to enter any A Good Turn Company giveaway or promotional contest. Account registrations completed through giveaway entry links are free. There is nothing to refund for giveaway participation.
5. Booking Access Fees
The one-time Booking Access Fee ($2.99 per session, applicable to free-tier members after their complimentary booking) is non-refundable once the booking session has been initiated. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 48 hours of the charge.
6. Affiliate Program
There is no fee to apply for or join the A Good Turn Company affiliate program. Earned commissions are paid monthly as described in the Affiliate Program terms. Commission calculations are final once processed. If you believe there is an error in your commission statement, contact us within 30 days of the payout date.
7. Technical Issues and Service Disruptions
If the Platform experiences a significant technical disruption that prevents you from accessing paid features for more than 24 consecutive hours, you may be eligible for a prorated credit toward a future billing period. Please contact us with documentation of the issue. Credits (not cash refunds) will be applied at our discretion based on the nature and duration of the disruption.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support process. Accounts that initiate unauthorized chargebacks may be suspended pending investigation. If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or in violation of this Policy, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount.
9. Changes to This Policy
A Good Turn Company reserves the right to update this Refund and Returns Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. This Policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
